Assembly machine for bonnell spring units

Description of operation

The semi-automatic assembly machine AS-4 is structured as a compact unit with a simple and straightforward concept, and it is used for the assembly of innerspring units containing Bonnell springs.

The springs are individually placed by hand onto the slider of the preloading device. Depressing the foot pedal starts the micro-processor-controlled procedure. The lower and upper coils are formed by two mutually independent coiling machines and turned into the end rings of the Bonnell springs. When all springs have been grasped, the helical is cut off and bent (looped). Subsequently, the mounted row of springs is advanced one step.

The machine provides the highest quality standards, including laser monitoring of helical.
