At Spühl, sustainability is not just an empty word. Wherever possible, we identify potential savings, e.g. in the areas of electricity, heating, or waste.
In 2022, thanks to a range of measures - such as a comprehensive roof renovation, optimization of lighting using LED, use of waste heat in the air compressors, replacing old fan heaters, installation of timers in printers and consistently switching off unused computers and monitors, we were able to exceed our energy goals agreed with the EnAW (Energie-Agentur der Wirtschaft – Industrial Energy Agency) considerably.
The compensation amount will now benefit the 16th Swissmem Industry Day. It will be possible to hold this on June 29, 2023 in Lausanne in an energy- and climate-neutral manner. There is an exciting program awaiting visitors starting from 1:00 PM.
