As a reward for these efforts, the company has now received the "Voluntary Climate Protection and Energy Efficiency" certificate from the EnAW (Economic Energy Agency).
These savings were achieved by the following measures, among others:
- Spühl has switched from its old oil heating system to district heating.
- LED lamps are used for lighting.
- The waste heat from the air compressors is used to heat the washing machine in which the painted parts are washed.
- The roof of production hall 1 has been fully renovated. Read more
